Tailai Wen

As Vice President of Technology at SITE Technologies, Dr. Tailai Wen leads the company’s technology organization, setting its AI strategy and building the software platform behind SITE’s data-driven approach to commercial property management. A Ph.D.-trained engineer and technical leader, he pairs deep expertise in AI and software engineering with a proven ability to take advanced technology from concept to production, delivering measurable operational results.

Before stepping into his current role, Tailai built and led engineering and AI teams across a wide range of industries, from oilfield optimization and industrial IoT analytics to enterprise AI services and digital health. He joined SITE Technologies in 2023 as Director of AI and Automation, where he grew the in-house engineering team and expanded the platform’s automation and software capabilities. He is passionate about making AI practical and dependable in the day-to-day operations of the businesses it serves.

Tailai holds a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Stanford University and is a published researcher in AI and applied mathematics. A global thinker, he draws on perspectives from different cultures and disciplines to find new approaches to hard problems. Outside of work, he treasures time with his wife and their three daughters.
